Notes: I spend a lot of time sampling rivers. What I found with both Midges and smaller Mayflies was that the bodies are highly segmented and very thin. I was looking for something to do with all the boxes of worked over grizzly hackle necks, so I stripped them and found the stem to be a variant black and white and perfect for the segmented look I was going for.
